The Unveiling!

Aloha bloggers! This week on Monday we had the honour to make culture people and put it on our very long blue fence. In term 3 we were making the designs for our culture people. When we finalized our design, my teacher drew the body onto the wood and my class took turns painting our culture person! It took awhile for the piece of art to be finished but it was worth the wait. We also had a garden unveiling. The oldest student (Alan) in our school along with the youngest student (Bella) got the honours to cut the ribbon that was around the garden! After they finished cutting both ribbons we sang our very own school song in front of people for the first time which was very cool. When the Garden unveiling was done we walked over to our culture people and did the unveiling for that. Our 2 teachers from Te Waka Ako flew 2 drones to take photos. Here are some photos from the day!
